Virtual tour of the Fashion for Good Museum, Amsterdam

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to Fashion and Textiles students enrolled on Sourcing and Supply (FBUY3000) module. Applications from other Fashion and Textiles students not currently enrolled on this module will also be considered. The maximum number of places for this opportunity is 50.

About

Fashion and textiles students are invited to join the world’s first interactive museum tour for sustainable fashion innovation. Participants will be personally guided through all of museum’s latest exhibitions by one of the expert hosts. The tour is a highly interactive experience with many actions, questions and discussions initiated throughout the tour.

Students will have an opportunity to learn how their clothes are made, see new technologies up close and personal, take a closer look at buyer behaviour and discover game-changing innovations shaping the future of fashion. Throughout the tour, students will hear about concrete ways to have a positive impact, commit to taking action and shop sustainable products. Participants will leave with actionable steps on their ‘Good Fashion’ journey.

The tour is will run at 11am and 1pm time. Applicants will be required to sign up for one of the two time slots. Please be aware that 25 places are available for each slot. Once time slot is fully booked it will no longer appear as an option.

Learning Objectives:

  • To gain an insight into sustainable practices within the fashion industry
  • To learn about where clothes are made and new innovations within the fashion industry
  • To gain a virtual international experience
