Campus activities and events
The University of Cyprus has a number of clubs that you can join, with each of them organising a range of events and activities through the year. Erasmus events are organized in coordination with the International Students Club which was formed by former Erasmus students of the University of Cyprus and ESN Nicosia. These events include parties, lectures, walks through divided Nicosia, and participation in the Limassol Carnival parade. The Sports Centre of the University of Cyprus offers an Athletic Programme for students interested in keeping fit and playing sport.
Travel and Accommodation
It is recommended that you purchase your flights to Larnaca once you have your Letter of Acceptance. When you arrive at Larnaca Airport it is recommended to take a taxi to your accommodation.
You should only apply to live in an accommodation as an exchange student only after you receive your Letter of Acceptance. Exchange students seeking accommodation can apply to live in Student Halls. For more information, see University of Cyprus website.
Fees and costs
Whilst studying at University of Cyprus, you don’t need to pay any tuition fees. However, some universities charge small fees for the use of facilities such as the Students’ Union. If you have any queries about any these charges, we recommend that you speak directly with the host university. You will be required to pay for the following: accommodation, insurance and books. Students accepted on Erasmus+ may also be eligible to receive the Erasmus+ grant.
