Campus activities and events

There are many regular activities (cinema, music, theatre etc.) and special events such as concerts, debates and lectures taking place on each campus throughout the academic year. The International Relations Office organises different integration events for incoming exchange students at the beginning of the first semester including an induction week at La Feclaz, with French courses in the morning and sports and cultural activities in the afternoon.

Travel and Accommodation

It is recommended that you purchase your flights to Lyon once you have your Letter of Acceptance. When you arrive at Lyon (St Exupéry) airport it is recommended to take a direct shuttle bus link to Chambéry town centre 5 times a day. It takes 1 hour, and costs 20 euros. Fees and costs

Whilst studying at Université Savoie Mont Blanc, you don’t need to pay any tuition fees. However, some universities charge small fees for the use of facilities such as the Students’ Union. If you have any queries about any these charges, we recommend that you speak directly with the host university. You will be required to pay for the following: accommodation, insurance and books. Students accepted on Erasmus+ may also be eligible to receive the Erasmus+ grant.
