Campus activities and events

UIC Barcelona organize different activities such as Cultural adaptation workshop, guided tours around Barcelona, Sherlock Holmes event, Cinema events and cultural week. The UIC Barcelona Sports Service offers programme, which includes training activities, sports competitions, discounts and special offers to access sports facilities and organisations, etc.

Travel and Accommodation

It is recommended that you purchase your flights to Barcelona once you have your Letter of Acceptance. When you arrive at Barcelona airport it is recommended that you take a taxi to your accommodation or take public transportation.

UIC Barcelona assists international students in finding accommodation in Barcelona. You should only apply to live in Housing as an exchange student only after you receive your Letter of Acceptance. For more information check out UIC Barcelona Accommodation.

Fees and costs

Whilst studying at UIC Barcelona, you don’t need to pay any tuition fees. However, some universities charge small fees for the use of facilities such as the Students’ Union. If you have any queries about any these charges, we recommend that you speak directly with the host university. You will be required to pay for the following: accommodation, meal plan, health insurance and books. Students accepted on Erasmus may also be eligible to receive the Erasmus+ grant.
