Campus activities and events

The island of Corfu offers many activities, but within the Campus, you can join the Sports Centre, or one of the students’ societies within the Students’ Union. On the same page, you can find a list of events too.

Travel and Accommodation

It is recommended that you purchase your flights to Amsterdam once you have your Letter of Acceptance. When you arrive at Corfu airport you can take a bus or taxi to Corfu Town which is just 10 minutes away.

Ionian University does not provide any housing, but students should expect to spend approximately 250€ – 400€ per month. As an Erasmus+ student you have the possibility to get two full meals per day in the University restaurant, paying a reduced price of approximately 2€ per meal.

Fees and costs

Whilst studying at Ionian University, you do not need to pay any tuition fees. However, some universities charge small fees for the use of facilities such as the Students’ Union. If you have any queries about any these charges, we recommend that you speak directly with the host university. You will be required to pay for the following: accommodation, health insurance (European students are eligible for free European Health Insurance Card) and books. Students accepted on Erasmus+ may also be eligible to receive the Erasmus+ grant.
