The College at Brockport, State University of New York (SUNY Brockport) is a liberal arts college in Brockport, Monroe County, New York, United States, near Rochester. A constituent college of the State University of New York, it has been ranked by U.S. News in the first tier of Master’s-granting colleges in the Northeast region, and by Kiplinger’s among the top 100 “Best Value” public colleges and universities in the United States.
The College offers 42 undergraduate majors, and boasts 23 NCAA intercollegiate athletic teams, arts and cultural events, and more than 60 clubs and organizations. The 464-acre campus includes recent multimillion-dollar renovations to Smith-Lennon Science Center, Hartwell Hall, Seymour College Union and Harrison Dining Hall, a newly opened 208-bed townhome facility, and a $44-million Special Events Recreation Center opened in 2012. Programmes of study
The College at Brockport offers a range of programmes of study that include Accounting, Earth Science, Art, History, Computing Sciences, Film Studies, Business and so on. The College at Brockport have over 100 clubs and organizations that fit almost any interest. They have different events taking place for students to attend to such as Glow Yoga, Shazam Music Competition, Wing Fest and so on.
You can stay or get fit at their award-winning Fitness Center. Take a group fitness class, work with a trainer, get instruction in first aid, or learn how to ice skate. The College at Brockport also produces major theatre productions, music performances, dance concerts, and art exhibits. The events are open the campus community and the public.
It is recommended that you purchase your flights to Rochester, New York once you have your Letter of Acceptance and the required documents to enter the USA such as: passport; Visa; Study Permit. When you arrive at Greater Rochester International airport it is recommended to take a taxi to Brockport as the service is easy to use, readily available, and there is always someone there to assist you in getting a taxi. It is recommend that all exchange students should live on campus because you will be able to build social networks and integrate into the Brockport student community.

DMU insurance is not sufficient for studying on exchange in the United States of America, and students are required to purchase appropriate medical insurance while attending Brockport. Students can purchase insurance directly from the University, but if you decide to procure this independently we strongly recommend that you check that it meets the levels of cover required Brockport.
Fees and costs
Whilst studying at Brockport, you don’t need to pay any tuition fees. You will be required to pay for the following: registration fee ($35) accommodation, meals and books.
