You will visit Première Vision Paris, a global event for fashion professionals where DMU has secured a stand each year, selling the design work of second- and third-year students. During the trip, you will be able to spend a day at the six shows which make up the event, giving you the chance to experience the true scale of the international fashion market, as well as having the time to explore museums, shops and exhibitions in central Paris.
In addition, you will benefit from interacting with a global audience of qualified buyers, design professionals and trade visitors, giving you the chance to liaise and network with studios for future internships and placements. This #DMUglobal trip is a meaningful international experience that can be both culturally-enriching and career-enhancing – giving you a more colourful CV, increasing your cultural awareness and boosting your confidence in your work.
There will be time for students to visit Parisian museums and shops to carry out contextual and cultural research for projects. This is designed to complement the experience at Première Vision, helping students to understand the wider context of the trade show.
