Enterprise Rent-A -Car recruit a large number of graduates each year and recruit from all degree disciplines. Over the past two years we have formed a partnership and collaborative way of working which has resulted in an increase in the number of our students applying to their graduate scheme and also the number of offers being made to DMU applicants.
A visit to Enterprise Rent-a-Car offices in Paris will allow our students to find out about how a global business operates as well as being able to meet with UK graduates who are now working abroad. Students will also build their networking skills allowing them to engage with employees at all levels of the organisation. This could inspire them to apply to Enterprise and when they do they are able to put this experience on their CV which could put them in a good position to be shortlisted. It will also broaden their professional experience giving them something of substance to talk about in interviews.
During the visit, students will be able to have a guided tour of the offices, meet staff and take part in a Business Challenge Activity. This challenge will enable participants to develop key skills that employers look for in applicants to their placement and graduate schemes such as; effective teamwork, communication, budget management and time management. This is the third trip of this kind, and three students who attended last year were offered a place on their graduate scheme
Enterprise Rent-a-Car will be at the DMUworks Graduate Recruitment and Placements Fair on the 29 and 30 October if students want to find out more about their graduate opportunities.
Please note, a full UK drivers licence is expected as students will require this for any placements or graduate roles with Enterprise.
In addition to the scheduled itinerary, students will have the opportunity to explore Paris’ monument-lined boulevards, museums, iconic buildings, bistros and boutiques. No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, a stroll along the glamorous avenue des Champs-Élysées or a visit to Notre Dame cathedral, a masterpiece of French Gothic architecture.
