All first year undergraduate students are eligible to participate in this opportunity which is open to all faculties. DMU staff will be accompanying all groups.

You are invited to experience Berlin for 4 nights in June 2018. As part of this unique opportunity for DMU students you will be staying in accommodation in the heart of the German capital and will take part in a range of academic activities linked to your chosen trip theme, as well as having time to experience the culture of Berlin.
More information about each of the different trips available and detailed activities will be announced when this opportunity launches for applications.
For students interested in 20th century German history both the DDR Museum and the Spy Museum are worth visiting. Also, you can enjoy the city on foot by joining one of the many free walking tours offered in Berlin.In addition to the organised academic activities, you will have the opportunity to explore the diverse culture and history of Berlin, visiting iconic landmarks, venues and districts such as the Berlin Wall and East side gallery. The city’s main cultural and historical sights – from the Museum Island and the Reichstag to Checkpoint Charlie and the Holocaust memorial – are to be found in central Mitte.

Travel and accommodation
Travel and accommodation for this opportunity will be booked by #DMUglobal. The #DMUglobal bursary will be deducted from the overall cost of the booking. Students will be required to pay the remainder via the DMU Online Store.
