As part of DMU Square Mile India, current DMU students will travel alongside DMU alumni to Ahmedabad to volunteer together and make a difference. As part of the Loving Community Project, working with Manav Sadhna the group will have the chance to engage in such a life changing project and see the positive impact the Square Mile India fund has on the residents.
This opportunity will consist of a mixture of volunteering with Loving Community Projects, contributing to a conference and participating in workshops.
As part of DMU Square Mile India, students, staff, alumni and the public raise money to support over 2,000 children a year from across Ahmedabad, and fund the running costs of the Loving Community Centre.
All travellers will be expected to raise money to go towards the Square Mile India fund.
During the trip alumni and students can use their free day to explore Ahmedabad, visit some of the beautiful temples and historic sites, or volunteer with Manav Sadhna.
