Law and HRM students enrolled on the following modules: Constitutional and Administrative Law (LLBP1001), Business Entities (LLBP2052), Employability and Professionalism (HRMG1203) are eligible to participate in this opportunity. The maximum number of places on this opportunity is 45 and the minimum the trip will go ahead with is 5. DMU staff will accompany the group.

An academic, commercial and cultural experience of China’s biggest city, Bejing, in collaboration with DMU partner Bejing Wuzi University and the Confucius Institute. Students will be led by BAL academic staff to investigate the cultural and legal significance of leading national institutions.
Then, hosted by BWU, will engage in a joint academic exercise with BWU students and professors discussing law and completing exercises, with a particular focus on the growth of intellectual property and the commercial areas of e-commerce and logistics, which are key research areas for BWU. As this is a long standing developing collaboration, it is intended that this trip will develop in the future to further academic and research collaboration.
You will also have the chance to visit Tiananmen Square, the Imperial Palace, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Beijing Temple of Confucius, and also go on a traditional Chinese shopping trip to the Namluoguxang area.

Travel and accommodation
Accommodation for this opportunity will be booked by the Faculty and will be at Beijing Wuzi University. Flights will be booked independently by students.
British nationals need a visa to enter mainland China. Students of other nationalities should check the Chinese Embassy website.
